WELCOME BACK TO TERM 2 !!

 This Week is the first week back at School for Term 2 ! 
It's really good to be back at school but the Holidays went fast right ? It felt like only 2 days but oh well . 

How was everyone's Holidays ? My Holidays was alright but quite boring because all I did was lie in bed and babysit !

 Today at Home I was bored so i decided to do Summer Learning Journey but by the looks of it i have been missing out on a lot so i am trying my best to catch up !

Skipping Challenges with my Family :)

 Today we went outside and played some skipping game and had a challenge to who can skip the most and my aunt won that round because she got 100 skips!

Tui Tui (Candlenut)

 In the Kingdom of Tonga in the Ancient times people had no cream and oil like the oil and cream we have now. So they used Candle nut to make a oil to rub on someones skin! If you want to learn more read my little presentation I made for you to read about! Hope you enjoy :)

Last Week Of the Holidays

 

This Week is the last week of the holidays! I am gutted because I want to sleep in but I have to get my brain working!! So a tip for everyone is sleep in, Enjoy your last week and Do want to want to do before school but my favorite tip is to sleep in during this week because when it comes to school time you will have to sleep early and wake up early!!

Going to the park with my Family

 Today we went to the park near the beach! It was so fun because we went on the flying fox! It felt like I was flying just like a bird when I road on it. 

My little cousins were afraid of going on it so we encouraged them to have a try! So they did, now they are used to it and they love it !

 For this Holiday I am spending it at my aunties house. So far we have been cleaning and playing, Also We watched Mulan Last night. I am having fun and now we are heading to the basketball courts to play and exercise.

Summer Learning Journey

Today 2 visitors came to Glen Taylor School and talked to us about Summer Learning Journey! There names were Jordan and Georgia, Room 9 had a session with them and they talked about when it started and finished. she asked us questions and if we got it right we would get lollies,   after going through her session we had a Kahoot and I was in the lead until I just got one question wrong and I went down. The winners for that Kahoot was 1st Ngwe sin, 2nd Josephine and 3rd Savanah, I enjoyed having the session with Georgia and I liked it! and I am happy to do it in the summer holidays!

Escape Rooms

Yesterday I went and spend the time with my Aunt and cousin and we went to the escape rooms at Botany and it was very frustrating because we were thinking very to hard but it was fun, so we went in a room and the topic was Sabotage and that is about soldiers and we had to unlock some lockers with number pins on it and it was hard we figured some out and their was only 1 locker left but we didn't make it but we got poles so we added them together to get the office key from this little hole so we ended up getting it so we unlocked this other room and it was an office. We were going through computers and we ended up getting it all right then it showed up a code so we tried that on the last locker and it worked and it had 1 key so their was a closet we unlocked it and their was nothing in it and we were like what? my aunt told me to push it and I pushed it so hard and it opened and that was the escape and it was funny because we were like OMG we can't believe we are out!

Square Root

I learnt about Square Root and I did a little video with one question that I have answered hope you enjoy!

Today

Today we went to church and we it was all right because not that much people were their and I think because they are too tired to come to church. Hope everyone enjoyed their rest of the holidays!

Chiefs

We went to a meeting where all of the teams that were competing the tournament with some Chief workers and they talked about a camp and my brother MADE THE CHIEFS camp and my family is so happy because he made the Chiefs under 17 and we are very happy for him and the other boys that got through well done!

New Plymoth

Yesterday we arrived at New Plymoth to watch my brother is game for 4 days. I am enjoying it here because the Motel that I am in is very beautiful and  I love it here I will Blog more after because I need to go to my brothers game!

Happy Holidays

Happy Holidays everyone well done for finishing off the term well hope you guys enjoyed your guys last day now you guys get to rest. 

Focus for this week!

Our Focus for this week is Fire so F for Fire stands for Fun I is Integrity R is for Respect and E is for Excellence also it is the last week until the holidays so make time out of it and be good to your teachers because they have been working very hard for you guys to learn good things!

Yesterday was the day that we had to say our farewells to Miss Nicola and Mrs Namburi. Thank you for all the good things you did for Glen Taylor school we will miss you i hope you enjoyed your time with us and we love yous. GOODBYE!

I got a warriors T - Shirt

On the last day of school i got a warriors t - shirt for helping people and encouraging them on the fun run and i would like to say thank you to my teacher,principal and deputy principal for giving this reward to me. I am so proud of myself !

My Holidays

Holidays

On the week school finished it was the holidays so i went to Hamilton with my mum and her workmates because they had a sponsor to go to the Chiefs and Blues game. On the first week i had to go to my aunt is house for the holidays because my mum,sister and dad was working and there was no one to look after me at home.

So i stayed with my great uncle and great aunt, and we went to the park and ate some yummy vanilla ice cream. Then my great uncle and aunt is daughter (my aunt) was on holiday for 3 weeks and i was happy because i can spend heaps of time with her. On the Easter weekend our church had a Easter camp at Glendowie Bowling Club, it was really fun there because we were learning about Jesus, doing pranks , playing , watching movies and the best part eating. Then my sister had a ball so we went shopping for so long but i enjoyed going with them. Then we went to go and wash my aunt is car at Tj’s car wash to wash her car to drop off her to her ball. On the last week of the holidays i went out with my aunt and her sister and my cousin to go and eat Wendy's and i had so much fun. And that was my holidays.
