For Niuean Language week day 4 ! Rm 11 had to do a Ven-Diagram about the difference between the Niue Basket Weaving and a culture you pick or even your own culture . It was a bit tricky for me to discover a Tongan Basket weaving video so I came across a Video with some beautiful Cook Islanders weaving a basket !

For Listen 2 reading , I listened to a young father telling us his story about his son having a condition called Autism.
The father was so shocked he didn’t want to believe it , but he stayed strong and stuck with his son!
It’s a good experience to watch somethings like this because some people like to tease others because they’re so quick to judge !!

Today for listen 2 reading ( Home learning edition ) , I listened to a book called " The Library Lion " This book is about a wonderful lion who was always helpful in the library and always looked forward to Reading time !
He always helped the librarian and one day his librarian was hurt , so the Lion went and called for help so we broke one rule just to help save the librarian !
Hey Everyone this is a late post from yesterdays work ! some of us rm 11 was still a bit crazy with the Tsunami warning so some of us decided to do our work today and its due tomorrow so we did it today. Hope everyone is alright with the warning that happened yesterday yes it was quite scaring but thank god it was only a small one. But I would like to thank all the teachers especially the GTS Teachers and Staff for having the courage to do their job during Lockdown so Thank you and I can't wait to Go back to School on Monday !!

For this Challenge we had a tasks to do and we had to take photos of how snails see us and other kinds of things ! I have missed out of Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so I decided to catch up on all and finish it since I have finished my work early.
So this is photos of me taking From a Snails Eye View, Possums and a Giant !
For this activity I had to list down facts about why we had to do this and that during a Google Meet with our class ! When I'm in our class Google Meets Miss Tupou always encourages us to talk with our mic on so When we first started lockdown this year I was a bit too shy to talk with my mic on but now I'm confident and Im used to talking with my mic on but sometimes I just forget to turn it on ! Miss Tupou always tells the students who have their camera off to turn it on too and I think the Camera one is important so The Teacher can see our face !
So for our activity we had to make a video of us lip syncing the song, dancing to it or more I chose to dance to it !!! SO I GOT ON TIKTOK AND SEARCHED UP THE DANCE then I did It !!!!!

For this Activity I watched a video about a Tongan legend named Ahoeitu . This Stoy is about a young man who went and visited his father who was a god and his name was Tangaloa , Tangaloa had 5 sons who were jealous becuase of their young brother so they killed him on the very first day they have ever met because they lived far from eachother.
They Killed their younger brother Ahoeitu and cooked him up and ate him ! Yes the 5 of them ate him. The Next day Tangaloa (their Father) went on up and checked on his sons to see how they wer doing but since he's a God he witnessed everything that happened but Tangaloa Wanted to see how the sons will respond so he went up to them and woke them up but because Tangaloa is a God they had to be like his servants so tey woke up and bow their heads.
Tangaloa: Where is your young brother ?
One of the sons: Sorry But we Don't Know
Tangaloa: Why are you all lying to me when I witnessed everything !! I want you all to get the kumete, pick the leaves from the nonu tree, put it in the kumete and vomit out all your spit and blood into the kumete to bring your brother back to life and get the his head and put it inside the kumete !!
When he is back alive I want you all to go back with him to land because he will be your King so you need to treat him like a king and you will be servants to him and it will pass from generation to generation so if you have kids they will serve then same as you. You will Serve Ahoeitu until time has headed to a end UNDERSTAND ?
For our Kia Kaha Challenge today we had to watch a video about a young boy who was Telling us 20 things to say like Kind things!!
Our activity was to create our own movie of ourselves sharing to you all what Kindness means to us and I was thinking my and thinking until I the thought of something so I wanted to make a film with people saying kind messages ! So I contacted my friends and some ex students from Glen Taylor and I asked them to send a video of them telling me what kindness is and to say a kind message so they agreed and I have finally finished with my movie so hope everyone enjoys and remember to BE KIND !!! 🍿☺️
Today for our Literacy I did an activity about coloring and I colored a painting that was already painted but I colored it with another copy but with my own creative colors and bends. It was fun and it was quite hard picking what color I should do but i finally got through it !! Hope you enjoy my piece of art I re-colored.
