Coronavirus

Today i'm at home because the outbreak of the deadly virus the Corona virus. The corona virus is very dangerous because it can spread fast. You will know if you have it when you a short breath, coughing and sneezing too much and if you have a fever or flu. That's why you have to wash your hands with clean water, soap and dry it with a clean towel and if you are coughing make sure to cover your germs from going out by using a tissue after using that tissue then please for you can other people's safety put it in the rubbish bin.

Word work

Today for our word work for this week I did the magazine work. The magazine word is amazing because it’s very fun and awesome. My favourite activity is the rainbow one I enjoyed doing this activity because I had to get letters out from a magazine and spell out our spelling words and our spelling words are Allowed, Atlantic, Auckland, Australia and more but this is my piece our work that I have produced today hope you enjoy.

Listening 2 Reading

Today we listen to reading and it is fun because we pick one link to watch a short film and write about it and I picked Coconet.tv. I watched a short film called A Guide to Fresh comedy - Online comedy and it's about them embracing their brown culture and a little something about them in there lives. My favorite video Polynesian maker is Johnny Tuivasa - Sheck because I love his funny Tiktok's and video's he makes and my favorite one is when he talks to his friend and he say's when oh snap when WHEN DID I ASK HAHAHAHA!

Tech

For Tech we made a type of curry called Salaam or something. I enjoyed making it because it was fun even though I didn't listen properly by putting the whole jug of water in the pan but it was really sour when we tasted it but we enjoyed the rice.

Art Exhibition making 2020

For Art Exhibition I will be making a Faka Ha'apai and a Kiekie. And I have been making roses to make my Faka Ha'apai and I just need a ngatu for my KieKie. In Room 13 we had to make a poster with our questions and answer them and this is my answers!

I Didn't Mean To Kill Her

Well we were doing writing in class we got to pick what we can do and I picked to do story starter. Story starter is when the website gives you a start then you have to carry it on until you finish your story and I picked I din't mean to kill her. I was surprised that I could write so much in 15 minutes but if was really fun you guys should try it out!

Art

In the past few weeks we have been doing art about the seven wonders of the world. Heaps of people did art like pop up art and drawing and my favorite is Morgans one because it's very creative and smart. And I like the colors in the display so Well Done to everyone who finished.

Talanoa Time

Last Night at 5:45 me and my mum went to school to do Talanoa time. Talanoa time is when we bring our parents/caregivers to school and tell them about your learning. My mum was proud of me when I showed her my work and told her my stanines. I am happy to be in Mrs Fonua's class because my family is happy!

Speed skills

Yesterday Mrs Fonua told us to hop onto a Maths website called Speed skills. When I first tried it I was so impressed because it helps me with my timetables and my first high score is 9 then I got better up to 17 and I am loving this website.

Technology

Today the seniors went to teach at Tamaki College. My class is cooking class and my teacher for the class is Mrs H. Today we made Stir Fry with noodles and a whole lot of vegetables because our focus for tech is vegetables. Me and my buddy Jane was very happy when we finished our cooking because we did a good job and we enjoyed our delicious yummy finger licking noodles.

Me and Jane were laughing because we both forgot our containers!

Hit The Button

Today I was working on my maths and decided to do Hit The Button and when I was doing the answers I was memorizing the answers for when the same question appears and I beat my high score and I am very proud of it because I am getting better at MATHS.
